BSNL

BSNL might offer 2GB per day and unlimited calls for Rs. 339 per month

If there was one network operator who didn’t still announce anything real big against the likes of Jio, Airtel, Idea, and Vodafone, it is BSNL. But now, the latest rumors claim that what it will offer will be enough to beat every competitor’s offers.

It will be the Rs. 399 recharge from BSNL that is going to change the terms and the current offering will be gone to be replaced by a better offer from the provider. Even if it is not looking so good with the call offering, data is going to be a big advantage if you are happy with the data speeds offered.

Old offer for Rs. 339 recharge

The current offer of Rs. 339 gives the users unlimited calls to local and STD numbers and that is limited to BSNL numbers, and along with that, 1GB data for the entire month was available.

New rumored offer for Rs. 339 recharge

According to the report from ETTelecom, the new offer for the same recharge price will be including unlimited BSNL to BSNL calls, calls to other networks capped at 25 minutes per day, and 2GB of data each day for 28 days, which is the validity of the plan.

What’s about the call limits?

  • The calls from BSNL number to any BSNL number, i.e. local or STD will be unlimited.
  • Calls from the BSNL number to any other number either local or STD will be available for free for the first 25 minutes of the day.
  • Post-limit calls will be charged at 25 paise per minute.

Currently, it is almost the same offer from all the three networks except Jio, when it comes to offering 1GB data per day and unlimited calls. At least with those networks, it was unlimited calls to any network capped to 300 minutes per day or 1200 per week. Here, BSNL is allowing 25 minutes per day for the off-net calls, but BSNL is prepared to give 2GB of data per day.

If this offer goes on to be launched, it should give the data users another option because BSNL has a great coverage even though the data speeds might not be as high as for Airtel and Jio, BSNL is known for seamless connectivity for calls and data.
