COMIO enters the Indian smartphone market with P1, S1, and C1

Topwise Communication has officially announced its entry into the Indian smartphone market with the brand COMIO, and there are three smartphones launched in the budget range to commence the campaign. The brand is focusing on specific features for each smartphone and these come with the 4G with VoLTE support for the Jio SIM compatibility as the company is dealing with Reliance Jio to offer free data on recharges.

The first three smartphones that are launching today include the P1, S1, and C1. Some of the common software features that the phones have include Freezer and Clone Application, and anti-theft feature. One of the interesting feature of Anti-theft is the image click seek, wherein when someone tries to unlock the device by trying to break the pattern or PIN, the device will automatically take the image of the unauthorized person. Other options include the lock and unlock feature, shutdown blocker, data back up, and SIM related functions.

The Comio P1 has its battery as the highlight. The biggest phone in the initial series, the P1 has a 5.5-inch HD IPS display. The device has a 64 bit quad-core CPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Unlike the other two, the Comio P1 comes with a unibody metal design and the fingerprint sensor is located on the back.

The camera combination includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with F/2.0 aperture and LED flash, while there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with flash support and F/2.0 aperture. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat and the 5000 mAh battery is what is said to offer about 2 days of usage. The color options in which the phone will be available are Metal Grey and Sunrise Gold.

COMIO S1

The Comio S1 has a fingerprint sensor on the front, with the same one acting as a physical home button as well. The phone has a 5.2-inch HD IPS display, a quad-core 64 bit CPU, 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The device runs Android Nougat OS and while there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with F/2.0 aperture, the device also has a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with the F/2.0 aperture. Both the cameras have a flash support for captures in low light. The device is powered by a 2700 mAh battery. The color options here are Royal Black and Sunrise Gold.

COMIO C1

COMIO C1

The Comio C1 comes with a 5-inch HD display and a metal frame for the body. There’s a quad-core MediaTek chipset powering the phone and along with that is 1GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. On the imaging front, the Comio S1 comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. A 2200 mAh battery powers the device. The device will be available in Mellow Gold and Space Black.

Pricing and Availability

The Comio P1 is priced at Rs. 9999, the S1 at Rs. 8999, and the Comio C1 comes with a price of Rs. 5999. The COMIO smartphones will be available at all key retail stores from the coming week in North India and will be available from third week of September in West India.

COMIO will also have an exclusive data tie-up with Reliance Jio, which will offer packages with additional data benefit, especially designed for the youth. With a recharge of Rs.309 or above, consumers will get a 5 GB additional data voucher on their handset.

  1. Comio tries something new with extra warranty, security features, and 32GB storage for all three devices! But Battery backup decreases significantly in S1 and C1 !!
