Honor 9i with four cameras, 6-inch FullView Display, 4GB RAM launched in India

Honor India has officially launched their latest smartphone, the Honor 9i. The Honor 9i comes in with the bump in specifications and some noticeable changes to the Honor 6X, and the smartphone has a 6-inch 18:9 display. Priced at Rs. 17999, the Honor 9i is going to be available exclusively on Flipkart.

The Honor 9i is powered by the Hisilicon Kirin 659 chipset, and along with that is 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. One of the major improvements here is with the cameras. The Huawei Honor 9i offers four cameras compromising of two rear and two front cameras. It has a 16 megapixel with dual-tone LED flash and 2-megapixel depth sensing camera that helps in the wide aperture captures and the portrait shots, which is a new mode introduced in the camera app. For the front, there is 13 megapixel with soft LED flash and 2-megapixel depth sensing camera.

The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat based EMUI 5.1 and the fingerprint sensor of the phone is located on the back. The smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC. The handset measures 156.2 × 75.2 × 7.5mm and weighs around 164 grams.

For our first impressions, I’d say that the device actually does have a great design and comfort due to the smooth corners and edges, and the phone does have decent specifications for the price.
