Alongside the Z5 , Lenovo has also launched two new smartphones, the Lenovo K5 Note (2018) and the Lenovo A5, in China. Both the phones feature a modern 18:9 display with massive batteries.
Lenovo K5 Note
The Lenovo K5 Note 2018 features a 6.0-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. The 18:9 display is covered under a 2.5D curved glass. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 450 chipset with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes two variants, 3 GB RAM/ 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM/64 GB storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256 GB via the dedicated microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Lenovo ZUI 3.9 on top.
The K5 Note 2018 comes with dual camera setup on the back, with a 16 MP f/2.0 primary camera and a secondary 2 MP camera with f/2.4 aperture. To the front, the phone features an 8 MP shooter with a f/2.0 lens.
The K5 Note 2018 features a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is fueled by a 3760 mAh unit. The phone comes with 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and GLONASS.

The Lenovo K5 Note 2018 comes in Black, Blue and Gold colors. The phone is priced at CNY 799 (USD 124/ INR 8,377) for the 3 GB RAM variant and CNY 999 (USD 156/ INR 10,474) for the 4 GB RAM variant.
Lenovo A5
The Lenovo A5 sports a 5.45-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. It has an 18:9 aspect ratio and is covered under 2.5D curved glass. The phone is powered by Quad core MediaTek 6737 chipset with PowerVr Rogue GE8100 graphics. It comes with 3 GB RAM and either 16 GB or 32 GB of storage to choose from. The storage can be expanded up to 256 GB via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ZUI 3.9 on top.
The A5 features a single 13 MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. To the front, the phone has an 8 MP camera which has an f/2.2 lens on top.
The A5 packs in a massive 4000 mAh battery underneath and it comes with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone supports 4G VoLTE, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The phone weighs 176 gms and has a thickness of 8.5 mm.
Pricing and Availability of Lenovo A5
The Lenovo A5 comes in three colors – Black, Rose Gold and Gold colors. The pricing of the phone starts at CNY 599 (USD 93/ INR 6,280) for 16 GB storage variant.
Lenovo K5 Note comes with some good midrange SoC & good price point while on other hand Lenvo A5 not so impressive at all with low end spec’s.
