LYF F1S with VoLTE, Snapdragon 652, 16MP camera launched for Rs. 10099

Reliance Retail has launched its latest smartphone, the LYF F1s that succeeds the LYF F1 in the premium series that focus on the design as well as specs. This latest smartphone in the LYF brand comes with a 5.2-inch display that is covered with a 2.5D curved arc glass, and it has a metallic-look on the back, though it isn’t confirmed if it actually is metal used on the back of the phone.

The LYF F1s has a 5.2-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels) with the 10-point multi-touch screen and Corning Concore Glass 3 protection, and under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with a MicroSD card slot offering a storage expansion support of up to 128GB. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and as expected, there is the entire lot of Jio apps pre-installed in the interface that is almost the same as in stock Android OS.

For the cameras, the LYF F1s has a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and for selfies, there is a front flash provided as well. There is a Low-Light Photography mode, chromaflash, optizoom, and multiple focus, and the UI has a seamless switch between voice and video calling. The device has a 3000 mAh battery and USB Type-C connectivity with fast charging support. The device has support for LTE+ carrier aggregation and along with LTE, there is VoLTE support, the very common feature for every LYF branded smartphone.

This is a Dual SIM phone with the first slot supporting a Nano SIM and the second slot being a hybrid one, where you can either have a SIM card or a MicroSD card in place. The phone is available on AJio and it is priced at Rs. 10099, with three color options – Gold, Grey, and Black. The device comes with a 1+1 year warranty. The buyers will also get Rs. 500 JioMoney Cashback.
