LG PJ9 Floating Bluetooth Speaker with 360-degree sound to launch at CES 2017

The CES 2017 event is just over a week from here and the announcements have begun, with the products to be showcased at the event in Las Vegas. The new Bluetooth speaker (PJ9) is scheduled to get introduced at the event and the speaker is said to be offering 360-degree sound output. The woofer station that is present under the loudspeaker has an electromagnet placed within itself and the same poles helps float the speaker in the air without any support.

In the base, there is a cylindrical woofer station, and the levitating speaker on the top is egg-shaped, and the shape of this speaker on the top has a unique design. Two passive radiators help offering a balanced bass and a mid-range sound output. Two unique features of it include the IPX7 rating (waterproof, for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter) and the speaker can be charged wirelessly. The way it charges is unique, where on low battery the speaker would drop into the center of the station to start charging. The wireless speaker is said to offer 10 hours of battery life.

The woofer station of the LG PJ9 bluetooth speaker also has a deep bass layer for creating a better sound, along with the ones given by the radiators. Seo Young-jae, managing director of LG Electronics’ CAV BD (Business Division), said, “The eye-catching design will cause a blast in the Bluetooth speaker market.”

The speaker will be showcased at the CES 2017 event in Las Vegas, and more details of it will be known during that time.
