Mobiistar, the Vietnamese smartphone maker, who made innards into the Indian market back in the May 2018, has announced their entry into the Offline market, in India, today. The company has also launched a series of new selfie centric smartphones called Mobiistar C1 Lite, Mobiistar C1, Mobiistar C2, Mobiistar E1 Selfie and Mobiistar X1 Dual. Mobiistar had previously launched the XQ Dual and CQ smartphones that are sold exclusively on Flipkart. For its offline entry, the company has partnered with around 600 distributors across India. The comapny is also said to have over 1000 service outlets in India, for after sales service.
Except for the C1 Lite, all the other phones come with a 3000 mAh battery, while the C1 Lite comes with 2700 mAh battery. Except for the Mobiistar C1 Lite and Mobiistar C1, rest of the phones come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. While the C1 Lite comes with a dedicated microSD card slot, all the other phones offer a hyrbid SIM/microSD solution. The phones feature face unlock as well, except for the Mobiistar C1 Lite
The cameras on all phones offer the “7 Level Beauty Mode” that uses advanced photo-processing algorithms, which intends on highlighting the user’s beauty, but not making it look unnatural. The Beauty mode can apply beauty filters such as brighten and soften skin, enlarge eyes as well as enhance the v-line of the face.
Mobiistar C1 Lite
The Mobiistar C1 Lite sports a 5.34-inch FWVGA+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 480×960 pixels. The phone comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
As for the cameras, the Mobiistar C1 Lite features a 5 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera. An LED flash assists the rear-facing camera.
Mobiistar C1
The Mobiistar C1 sports a 5.34-inch FWVGA+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 480×960 pixels. The phone comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
For the cameras, the Mobiistar C1 uses a 5 MP rear-facing camera and an 8 MP selfie snapper. There’s an LED flash on the back, for low-lighting scenarios.
Mobiistar C2
The Mobiistar C2 sports a 5.34-inch FWVGA+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 480×960 pixels. The phone comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
As for the cameras, the Mobiistar C2 comes with an 8 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie camera.
Mobiistar E1 Selfie
The Mobiistar E1 Selfie sports a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. A 2.5D curved glass covers the 18:9 display. The phone comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
In the camera department, the Mobiistar E1 Selfie comes with a 13 MP single rear camera, as well as a 13 MP selfie camera. There’s an LED flash on the back.
Mobiistar X1 Dual
The Mobiistar X1 Dual sports a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. A 2.75D curved glass covers the 18:9 display. The phone comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
As for the cameras, the Mobiistar X1 Dual comes with a 13 MP single rear camera, whereas on the front, it comes with a dual camera setup. There’s a 13 MP primary camera and an 8 MP secondary selfie camera which has a 120° super wide Field of View. An LED flash assists both the front and rear facing cameras.

Pricing and Availability of Mobiistar Offline Phones
All the phones come in Black, Blue and Gold colors. The pricing of the phones ranges from INR 5k to INR 11k. The C1 Lite is priced at INR 4,340, C1 priced at INR 5,400, C2 comes at INR 6,300. The E1 Selfie is priced at 8,400 while the X1 Dual comes with INR 10,500. The phones will be available across all major retail outlets, starting August 2nd.

Looks like mobiistar now focusing on low budget to mid range smartphone category with it’s 5 new smartphone, C1, C2 & C3 looks low budget with basic spec’s, E1 has selfie budget centric while X1 Dual is around 10K but comes with decent spec’s.
