In the past, we’ve seen the Moto G series leak often and the Motorola’s E Series is following similar footstep this year. The leaks have now revealed critical information about the design of the handset and also gives an idea of the device specifications of the new E Series. This new information that reveals the specifications of the device in three different variants was from a tweet by Andri Yatim, a renowned Motorola tipster.
The new Moto E5 series will be coming in three variants, the Moto E5, Moto E5 Play and the Moto E5 Plus which will lead the series as the most premium variant. The Moto E5 Plus comes with an HD+ resolution panel of 5.8-inch size, the storage capacities on the device come in 32GB and 64GB variants. The camera gets a major upgrade and is now a 16MP rear shooter with a praiseworthy aperture of f/1.75. The front camera is a modest 8MP camera with a f/2.0 aperture. The device is kept alive by a 5000mAh battery.
Talking about the Moto E5 Play, the device comes with a smaller 5.2-inch display with an HD resolution and has 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of Storage. On the Moto E5 Play is a 12MP rear camera along with a 5MP front camera. The battery on the device is slightly smaller at 4000mAh. The Moto E5 is the standard variant of the device and comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with a standard 16:9 aspect ratio. The device has a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies. This device has the smallest battery of the three and is powered by a 3028mAh battery.
The device come in two variants of chipsets similar to Samsung’s choice, the Moto E5 plus comes with a MediaTek processor in all regions except North America. There is no information on the release dates of the both the E series as well as the G series.
