Motorola India has brought their entry-level smartphone from the E-series, the Motorola Moto E5 Plus, today, to the Indian market. The new smartphone comes with a modern 18:9 display and a Snapdragon processor.
The Motorola Moto E5 Plus sports a 6-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 430 with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with either 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage or 3 GB RAM with 32 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with zero added bloatware.
As for the cameras, the Moto E5 Plus comes with a 12 MP rear facing camera that has an aperture of f/2.0 and pixel size of 1.25um. It comes with both Phase Detection AutoFocus and Laser AutoFocus. To the front, we are greeted by a 5 MP selfie camera assisting which is a selfie flashlight. The phone can record videos at a maximum resolution of 1080p at 30 fps. The camera app includes modes such as HDR, Manual, Panorama, Burst shots, slow-motion mode. The camera also comes with video stabilization.
An enormous 5000 mAh battery provides the necessary juice for the Moto E5 Plus. It comes bundled with 10W rapid charger for quick top-ups. The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
As for connectivity, the phone comes with 4G VoLTE, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, GPS, aGPS & GLONASS. The E5 Plus comes with all the important sensors such as Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, and a proximity sensor.
Pricing and Availability of Motorola Moto E5 Plus
The Motorola Moto E5 Plus comes in Black, Flash Gray, and Fine Gold colors. The pricing of the smartphone is set at INR 11,999 for the 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The phone will be available for purchase on Amazon India.
