Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo launched with HD display, dual rear cameras for Rs. 16990

A smartphone without a dual camera setup on the back is a pretty rare sight these days. Keeping up with the new trend, Samsung has launched a new smartphone in the J series, Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo, which packs a dual camera combination, on the rear. It comes with an F/1.9 lens on all the three cameras which should help users to capture good low-light photos. The new Samsung device bears the same design language as the other Samsung phones in the J series.

The J7 Duo sports a 5.5” HD Super AMOLED touchscreen with a 720x1280p resolution, while the phone still has 16:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by Samsung’s own Octa Core Exynos 7870 with a Mali-T830 MP1 GPU handling the graphic activities. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256 GB using the dedicated MicroSD slot. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience on top.

The J7 Duo has a dual camera setup on the back – a 13 MP primary camera with an F/1.9 aperture, while the secondary camera is a 5 MP F/1.9 camera. While it has an 8 MP selfie camera with an F/1.9 aperture and an LED flash to brighten up your selfies. Both the front and the rear cameras shoot videos at a maximum of 1080p resolution at 30 fps.

For power, the J7 Duo packs a 3000 mAh battery underneath, which can be topped up through the Micro USB port. The phone comes with dual band 802.11ac Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth 4.2 LE. Along with the front mounted fingerprint scanner, which doubles a home button, the phone also has an Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor and a RGB light sensor.

The Galaxy J7 Duo will be available in Black and Gold colors and comes at a price of INR 16,990. It will be available across retail stores starting April 12th, 2018.
