Samsung Galaxy S8 3D renders show no dual camera, but 3.5mm still on board

Just the other day, we posted Samsung Galaxy S8 rendered images by cake maker and we also learned that the new Galaxy S8 could come in two different variants; one being the regular version and the other is the Galaxy S8 Plus. With both the models, it looks like Samsung is getting rid of the home button and there is also a provision for dual rear cameras. But now Samsung Galaxy S8 3D renders that surfaced a while ago tells us a different story partially.

An interesting fact is that the new 3D Rendered images are also from a case maker originally posted by GsmArena. With the new 3D render images, the iconic home button is still missing so are the capacitive buttons. The dual curved display mostly occupies the front side of the Galaxy S8. What confuses us the most is that the Fingerprint sensor goes missing on the rear side as well making us believe the rumor that said the Samsung Galaxy S8 could sport an optical fingerprint sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 render images show us there would be two speaker grills located at the top and bottom for impressive audio experience and there is 3.5mm audio jack located at the bottom refuting all the rumors which said otherwise. The power button and volume rockers are located on the left side and to the rear side, we just see a single camera sensor and LED flash, and in any case, we don’t see dual rear camera setup as rumored.

Though it was anticipated that the Samsung Galaxy S8 would launch at the MWC 2017 event, recent developments suggest us Mid April launch. Stay tuned for more details.

  1. If it’s true, keeping 3.5mm jack is nice, and not bringing dual real camera may not be a big drawback either.. Only time will tell!
