Lenovo Z2 Plus new price

Lenovo Z2 Plus gets price cut in India, starts from Rs. 14999 now

Lenovo Z2 Plus, our 2016’s best smartphone under Rs. 20000 is now getting a price cut, and this is a permanent price cut where both the variants of the phone are going to see a reduction in the price. The new prices will apply from January 16th (12:00 noon). The Z2 Plus was earlier priced Rs. 17999 for the 32GB variant and Rs. 19999 for the 64GB one.

Now, the 32GB storage one is getting a price cut of Rs. 3000 and the 64GB one will see a reduction in price by about Rs. 2500. Following are the effective prices.

  • Lenovo Z2 Plus (Black / White, 32GB): Rs. 14999
  • Lenovo Z2 Plus (Black / White, 64GB): Rs. 17499

Both the smartphones will be available under EMI as usual, and exchange offers apply to them.

The Z2 Plus from Lenovo was one of the competitive devices last year to have the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, and other specifications too were good enough to compete with the likes of Xiaomi Mi 5, LeEco Le Max2, but it didn’t do so well against the OnePlus 3, which had a good margin of price higher than the Z2 Plus.

Lenovo has been regularly introducing new smartphones majorly in the low mid-range segment with not just the K series, but also with its Moto range. The latest one from the company was the Moto M smartphone, and there are more devices expected next month during the MWC 2017 season.

The phone is now available even on Flipkart.

  1. With 3.3/5 ratings, it’s not worth buying even at 5K!! But many would buy seeing the price drop not the ratings!!
