Tecno has launched two new smartphones, the Tecno Camon i Ace & the Tecno Camon i Sky 2, today, in India. Both the smartphones run on Android 8.1 Oreo with Tecno’s HiOS on top. The i Sky 2 comes as a succesor to the April-launched Tecno Camon i Sky smartphone.
The company has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer Jio users an INR 2,200 cash back (in the form of INR 50 vouchers), upon recharging with INR 198/ INR 299. The company is also offering 1-time screen replacement in one-year, 100-day free replacement and a 1-month extended warranty.
Tecno Camon i Ace
The Tecno Camon i Ace comes with a 5.5-inch HD+ 2.5D curved display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. Powering the phone is the MediaTek 6739 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. For graphics, the SOC comes with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB using a microSD card.
As for the cameras, the Tecno Camon i Ace comes with a single 13 MP rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture, assisted by a dual LED flash. To the front, the phone comes with an 8 MP selfie shooter with a similar f/2.0 aperture and a dual LED flash, as the rear camera.
The Tecno Camon i Ace packs in a 3050 mAh battery underneath. The phone has support for 4G VoLTE, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS & GLONASS. The phone lacks a fingerprint scanner but does offer face unlock feature.
Pricing and availability of Tecno Camon i Ace
The Tecno Camon i Ace comes in Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and Midnight Blue colors. The phone is priced at INR 6,799 and will be available across 35,000+ retail outlets, starting today.

The Tecno Camon i Sky 2 sports a similar 5.5-inch HD+ 2.5D curved display as the i Ace. The screen has a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. Powering the smartphone is the same MediaTek 6739 processor with PowerVR GE8100 GPU, that fuels the i Ace as well. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB.
The Tecno Camon i Sky 2 comes with a dual camera setup on the back, with a 13 MP primary rear-facing camera with f/2.0 lens and a secondary VGA camera. To the front, the phone has a 13 MP selfie camera with a f/2.0 aperture. A Dual LED flash assists both the rear and front-facing cameras.
The Tecno Camon i Sky comes with a 3050 mAh battery. The phone comes with both, a fingerprint scanner and face unlock for users to unlock their smartphones securely. For connectivity, the smartphones come with 4G VoLTE, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 & GPS and GLONASS.

The Tecno Camon i Sky 2 comes in Bordeaux Red, Champagne Gold & Midnight Black colors. The phone is priced at INR 7,499 and will be available across 35,000+ retail outlets, starting August 20th, 2018.

Both Tecno camon i Ace & i Sky 2 has offered some decent specifications which usually not impressive at all compared to it’s price points because there is other smartphones like Redmi 5 which is far better choice than it.
