TP-Link Neffos N1 smartphone launched in Malaysia with 5.5-inch display

TP-Link’s sub brand Neffos has introduced their latest mid-range phone in their N-series range, the Neffos N1 on March 15, in Malaysia. The Neffos N1 is the company’s first dual-camera smartphone.

The Neffos N1 sports a 5.5 inch FULL HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and has 16:9 aspect ratio. The display is covered under a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 . The phone is powered by an Octa-Core Mediatek Helio P25 chipset clocking at 2.5 GHz and Mali-T880 GPU handles the graphic activities. It has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage with an option to expand the storage upto an extra 128 GB using a MicroSD card. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Neffos’s NFUI 7.0 on the top.

The TP-Link Neffos N1 has a camera setup that looks similar to Huawei’s P10. It has dual 12 MP sensors on the back of which, one is an RGB sensor, while the other is a Monochrome sensor. The sensors used in it are the Sony’s IMX386 with an F/2.0 aperture and are accompanied with a dual-tone LED flash on the back. On the front we have an 8 MP camera, with an 86 degree wide angle lens.

The N1 has 3260 mAh battery with fast charge support. The phone has TP-Link’s in-house dual-band smart antenna technology for better Wi-Fi connectivity. It comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back and also has dual sim support.

The Neffos N1 is available only in “Space Black” colour and is priced at RM 1099(USD 238/ INR 18250). It comes with a 2-year warranty and is available in Malaysia. There is no detail about the availability of this smartphone in any market outside of Malaysia.

  1. at price tag of 19k the offered spec’s doesn’t looks good you can get Snapdragon 636 in 14k price tag so why you spend 19k for old Helio P25?
    Apart from that design looks decent with 16:9 display.
