Yu recently launched the Yureka Black phone and that came in as a competition to the super good Xiaomi Redmi 4 smartphone. The phone hasn’t got any compromises and it has decent specifications packed for the price, i.e. Rs. 8999 and it comes in two variants with the finish they have – the Chrome Black and Matte Black variants.
Below, we discuss that are the best features of the phone that you can know and then decide whether the Yureka Black is going to be the best phone for you. We list out only the best features if you are interested in making a purchase. Following are the points to know.
Yureka Black Design
No matter which color variant it is, the phone is good. We have used the Chrome Black one for over a week and it feels premium with the glossy back, while for the brief amount of time that we checked the Matte Black variant, it seems great as well. The phone has the unibody metal build and it has the buttons, ports, and the speaker placed very well. The corners are curvy and smooth and the size makes it comfortable and easy to hold for a long time.
The 1080p Display
The Yureka Black comes with a 5-inch Full HD display and that is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and along with that is the 2.5D curved glass for a smoother feel in the corners and sides. While the colors are great on the display, the Yureka Black also has display bright enough for good readability under the sunlight.
Having the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, the Yu Yureka Black has decent power under its hood and the phone has been able to perform all tasks with ease and same is the case with gaming where high-graphic games as well played without any lags.
To add to it, there is enough offered by the company for the multitasking as the Yu Yureka Black has 4GB of RAM and out of that, over 2.5GB is available to the users.
Good Cameras – Front and Back
Both the cameras that are included in the phone are decent. In fact, the 8-megapixel front-facing camera on the Yureka Black is a superb one you might find in this price range. The front camera uses a sensor from Samsung and it is capable of capturing great selfies with natural tone and detail maintained, though you can choose to have Beauty Mode turned on for clearer faces. There is also a group selfie feature included.
The rear camera uses the Sony IMX 258 sensor and it also does a good job of color reproduction. We tried the camera in several modes and light conditions, and it indeed does not disappoint and is a great one for the price.
One factor that defines the smartness is connectivity because if the phone doesn’t have that well, it wouldn’t be able to pull off all the smart tasks. The Yureka Black does have 4G with VoLTE for the Jio SIM to work perfectly and it was a great reception with both, the data network as well as with Wi-Fi.
Of course, the battery life adds to the good factors but this video was strictly about the features that make the device stand out and make it one of the best in this price range, especially in tough contention against the Xiaomi Redmi 4.
