Amazon has launched their latest tablet which is a 8-inch version of the Fire Tablet, it is called the Fire HD 8 Reader’s edition tablet. It comes with some additional features like Blue Shade feature along with unlimited Kindle subscription. Let us look at the specifications of the device and talk about the added features later, it sports an 8-inch HD display having resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

The Kindle Fire HD 8 readers Edition is powered by a 1.5GHz quad core processor with 8GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB using microSD card. The device also has front and rear cameras, 5MP rear camera with 1080p Video Recording feature along with a 720p HD front facing camera. The company has incorporated some additional features like word runner, multi-colored highlights, Whispersync for Voice, Kindle Sharing, bookerly font and Goodreads integration.
