Xiaomi has announced the launch of their new tablet in the Mi Pad-series, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus, in China. The Mi Pad 4 Plus is the larger variant of the June launched Mi Pad 4.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus sports a 10.1-inch FHD+ IPS display with a WUXGA resolution, i.e., 1920×1200 pixels. The larger screen results in a slightly lower pixel density of 224 PPI than the mini variant. The screen has a 16:10 aspect ratio. Powering the tablet is the Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset with Adreno 512 GPU taking care of the graphics. It comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256 GB through the included microSD card slot. The tablet runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI on top.

The cameras remain unchanged from the smaller Mi Pad 4. The Pad 4 Plus comes with a 13 MP rear camera which uses an Omni Vision OV13855 sensor behind the f/2.0 lens. It also has a 5 MP selfie snapper on the front, which has a similar f/2.0 lens on top but uses a Samsung-made S5K5E8 sensor.

A massive 8620 mAh battery fuels the Mi Pad 4 Plus, which charges through the Type-C port. For connectivity, the Mi Pad 4 Plus comes with 4G VoLTE Bluetooth 5.0, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi with 2×2 MIMO support.

Unlike the Mi Pad 4 which came in both a Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE variant, the Mi Pad 4 Plus comes only in Wi-Fi + LTE variant. The tablet comes with both a fingerprint sensor and AI Face Unlock, for secured access.
