The Rs 9 plan from Airtel aims to compete with the Rs 19 plan from Reliance Jio. The users that opt for the Rs 19 plan from Jio get 20SMS and 150MB of data for a day. Clearly, the pricing offered by Airtel is better in terms of SMS while Jio provides slightly more data for a higher price. Airtel also has a Rs 23 plan that gives unlimited calls, 100SMS and 200MB data valid for two days
The interested users can avail the Rs 9 plan from the MyAirtel app or Website and you can find the recharge under the Combo offers section. The Rs 9 plan is essentially designed for users who need a single-day pack for limited usage.
There is also a Rs 93 recharge pack the price of which the company recently revised, this is for those who are looking for more benefits. The Rs 93 plan offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, 100 SMS per day and 1GB data per day for a period of 28 days. However, the unlimited calls are capped at 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week.
