Airtel 2GB per day offer

Airtel offering unlimited calls, 2GB data per day for Rs. 799 per month

Airtel is on a spree of giving offers to its subscribers, especially the prepaid ones. After recently starting the offer of Rs. 345 to 349 where the users were given 1GB of data for 28 days and unlimited calls to local and national numbers for the same period, the network provider has now given another offer, though to select subscribers for now.

The new offer is of Rs. 799 per month. It just doubles the amount of data that was provided per day. The Rs. 345 to Rs. 349 (based on the region) offered 1GB per day, while the Rs. 799 per month offer 2GB per day of data with unlimited calls to local and national numbers.

This could come as a competition against the Jio Prime plans that are offering 2GB of data per day for a price of Rs. 499 if you are a Prime member. Even if the price is not as competitive, it is good to see that Airtel is working to bring out different offers to retain its subscribers and given the good network coverage while Jio has to still prove in that aspect, Airtel will not have to worry about the subscribers thinking to shift away from the network.

Airtel has also made another new offer where the users will get 1.5GB data per day and unlimited calls for the price of Rs. 548, with the plan validity of 28 days. The only catch is that it is not an open recharge that will be available to everyone but for now, only to the select subscribers who can check for the eligibility by download the My Airtel app.

If you wish to take advantage of one of these offers, you will have to get the recharge done before March 31st, as according to the network provider, it won’t be available after that. Airtel also had sent an email to its postpaid users saying that they will be getting a surprise on March 13th and it is probably an introduction of some new plans with better offers, or free data to the postpaid users. Interestingly, just like how the scene is with the prepaid users, not everyone got the email. We will keep an eye and update about the postpaid offers for Airtel subscribers.
