After Jio started it’s offer last year, it has been surprising all the users till now. This resulted in a huge loss for all the other network providers such as Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, etc. And, that’s not it just with the offer, Jio has entered the smartphone, DTH, Broadband, and other markets as well. So with this type of entry into the market, it motivated other network providers to enter into these markets before Jio takes everyone down. This is what has given Idea an idea of developing the Android apps for music and movies as Airtel and Jio already have it.
With that being said that Idea has launched a couple of new apps for Music, and Movies & Entertainment. Talking about these both apps, Idea did make them a little fancy with the UI. But, in my opinion, I liked the Wynk Music by Airtel as it was more smooth, simple, and easy to use. Turning to the names, Idea has named them Idea Music Lounge and Idea Movie Club.
Idea Music Lounge
Firstly, reminding that this app only works with a registered Idea SIM if you have any and for now, the app is completely free with 3 months of free premium subscription. Installing the app from the Play Store, you’ll find the UI to be of more colors like Yellow and Blue Faded background. In the app, you can choose the languages of your choice for the app to recommend you some nice music based on different lists such as music’s genre, trending, latest, chartbusters, for different moods, etc. Music Lounge also has the provision to download and listen to the songs in offline mode. The special features of this app include dynamics lyrics sync along with the song, inbuilt equalizer, and selecting music quality. You can give it a try if you have an Idea SIM with you.
Idea Movie Club
The same goes for the Movie Club app as well in terms of eligibility. Inside the app, apart from some movies, you will also find many other TV Shows from some channels and you are also capable of streaming some channels that are provided in the app. You can also watch YouTube’s trending videos from the app only. There are sections where you can watch these; such as Movies, TV Shows, Ditto TV, Shorts, Kids, and YouTube. The best part is that the app is powered by the EROSNow with which you can watch latest movies, that too in high quality. Coming to the subscription part, even with this app, you get a 3-month free trial before you can actually subscribe to it. And to conclude, I found this app very interesting to watch some trending videos on YouTube, some of the TV shows, and some TV Channels.
Jio music and movies app is the best I’ve ever used with minimum buffering even on low internet speeds, idea can never match it..
