Aptos rewards early testnet users with 150 APT tokens each

Aptos Foundation had gone mainnet just a day ago and within the past 24 hours, there was a lot of activity in terms of exchanges announcing the trading schedule and timings for the APT tokens. The largest cryptocurrency exchanges including Binance, FTX, Hotbit, ByBit, Kucoin, Gate, and others had announced the trading time for APT tokens.

Initially, there was a backlash from the Aptos community on social media as Aptos team didn’t put out any tokenomics or information of how and when the tokens would be unlocked for investors. But later, things started getting clearer when the Aptos tokenomics were released and it was mentioned that community will get the tokens first. It still wasn’t clear which users constituted under Community, until a few hours ago when the early testnet users started getting emails about “Aptos Foundation Airdrop”.

Eligibility Criteria:

The following community platform users are eligible for the airdrop:

– Users who completed an application for an Aptos Incentivized Testnet
– Users who minted an APTOS:ZERO testnet NFT

Aptos Foundation also used certain measures to try to eliminate bots or otherwise suspicious accounts.
