The Mi Wi-Fi Router from Xiaomi has 1TB/6TB storage, 802.11ac networking

Xiaomi rose to fame in India, as a brand, pretty quickly, thanks to their reasonably priced Smartphone options that gives a great deal to the buyers for what they pays. However, with their recent product announcements, it’s pretty much clear that Xiaomi is not interested in restricting their products to just Smartphones.

Xiaomi recently announced their all new Mi WIFI device, which the company claims to be a router of enterprise class that features a PCB antenna along with 802.11 ac WIFI support and a whopping 6 terabyte of hard disk space to store all your music, photos and movies, which is the largest in the industry. Also Xiaomi says that its Mi Wi-Fi router is the world’s first router to feature the latest Broadcom 4709C 1.4 dual core processor.

The Xiaomi Mi router also has a couple of extra features up its sleeves, which includes remote access to the content stored on your Mi router from your Smartphones or tablets. Also, it allows you to store in corporate grade surveillance videos, if that is what you prefer.

The Xiaomi Mi Wi-Fi router comes in two storage options. The 1 TB and the premium 6 TB variants. In India, the pricing of the Xiaomi Mi Wi-Fi router starts at RS. 7,195 for the 1 TB storage variant and shoots up to RS. 30,872 for the 6 TB storage option.
