Vivo V11 Pro debuts in India with 6.41-inch Halo FullView display, Snapdragon 660 SOC

Vivo has launched their latest mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V11 Pro, today, in India. The V11 Pro is a successor to the Vivo V9 which was launched back in March of 2018. The phone comes with a new Halo FullView display and an octa-core Snapdragon chipset.

Vivo V11 Pro Specs

The Vivo V11 Pro features a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The screen has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with an Essential Phone-like notch on the top, and thin chin at the bottom. The Halo FullView screen has a 91.27% screen-to-body ratio.

Paired with Adreno 512 GPU, the Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset powers the Vivo V11 Pro. The phone comes with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256 GB via the microSD card slot. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 4.0 on top.

For the cameras, the Vivo V11 Pro features a dual camera setup, similar to its predecessor. The primary rear-facing camera is 12 MP unit which has a large f/1 aperture and 1.28um sized pixels. The 12 MP camera has Dual Pixels technology, which claims to focus on the subject in just 0.03 seconds. The secondary camera, on the other hand, is a 5 MP shooter which captures depth information for portrait shots. To the front, the phone has a 25 MP AI selfie camera. The cameras come with modes such as AI Face Shaping, AI Backlight HDR, AI Scene Recognition, AI Portrait Framing, AI Body Shaping and AI Selfie Lighting.

The battery underneath is a 3400 mAh unit with Vivo’s Dual-Engine fast charging support. For connectivity, the Vivo V11 Pro comes with 4G VoLTE, 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS & GLONASS.

For security, the Vivo V11 Pro comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, as well as Face Unlock. Unlike the V9 which used just the camera for face unlock, the V11 Pro comes with an Infrared Light which projects the infrared light onto your face and scans it, similar to iPhone X.

The V11 Pro also comes with Vivo’s Jovi AI assistant as well as Jovi Smart Center, wherein users can check weather forecasts, exercise data and many more. There’s also an AI Game Mode, which has floating call alerts, background calls, and a game keyboard, allowing users to game on their phone without any interruptions.

Pricing and Availability of Vivo V11 Pro

The Vivo V11 Pro comes in Dazzling Gold and Starry Night colors. The phone is priced at INR 25,990 and will be available for purchase on Flipkart and Amazon, starting from September 12th, while the pre-orders start from today, i.e., September 6, 2018.
