Panasonic’s India Innovation Centre has developed and launched a Bluetooth tracker device called Seekit with two models, the Seekit Edge and Seekit Loop. This device helps keep track of the things that matter the most and that you cannot afford to lose.

Seekit comes with features like Separation Indicator, Proximity Guidance, Last Seen Location, Bi-directional Tracking, and Voice Alerts with High Alert Mode for tracking; Low Alert Mode to avoid unnecessary alerts. The tracker has Bluetooth 5 and it is said to have about 12-18 months of battery life with a better battery utilization done by the tracker.

Seekit Loop

Whenever the tracker attached to the particular item is disconnected, the separation indicator alerts the user about the same. The alerts can be customized if the user has multiple Seekit devices connected. The Bi-directional Tracking helps either way, in either finding the item with the tracker, or to find the phone by double-pressing the button the tracker. There’s Proximity guidance that helps guide the user towards the valuable and if the phone itself is left behind, Seekit would Buzz and Glow to send a reminder.

If the Separation Alert is missed, you can just open your Seekit app and check the Last Seen Location of your disconnected valuable. In case of theft, the Seekit Community of app users can trace the valuable with the help of Crowd GPS technology. Just by pressing the button on Seekit thrice you can send an SOS Alert to 3 contacts with your GPS location. The Seekit device also comes with a Selfie Button, eliminating the struggle to find the perfect angle and click it.
