Gionee’s fashion series has seen just one device yet, but there are now three variants of the same, all of them differing from each other with the RAM included in them. Earlier, it was only one variant of Gionee F103 available with 2GB RAM, but Gionee has now come up with the 1GB RAM and 3GB RAM ones, with little difference in the pricing.
The F103 is the first Gionee device to be assembled in India, at a plant located in Andhra Pradesh, and it is a device with 5-inch 720p display, a Mediatek quad-core chipset clocking at 1.3 GHz. There is a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera included in the device that runs Android 5.0-based Amigo 3.0 OS.
Commenting on the launch of the F series, Mr. Timir Baran Acharyya, GM, Gionee India said,
“We have shipped almost 2,16,700 units from the time we have introduced the Fashion Series in the Indian market. Design, supported with features has become an essential element for consumers when they buy phones. With our F series, we have achieved to get both design and performance in one device, for our consumers get the best of both worlds. Hence, we have introduced two more variants for F103, i.e. in 1GB and 3GB RAM which will ensure an even superior experience for consumers, while keeping the style quotient intact.”
The Gionee F103 is available in India at INR 8,499 for 1GB, INR 9,999 for 2GB and, INR 10,999 for the 3GB variant, as every other spec is the same.
