Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee has launched their latest offering, a colorful smartphone named Pioneer P5W which comes in multiple color options like yellow, blue, red, white and black. It has been launched in the budget smartphone segment carrying a price tag of Rs. 6,499. The device comes with a 5-inch HD IPS Oncell display having resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The device is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory expandable up to 128GB using microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and comes with additional features like new customization lock feature called AMI lock along Face Unlock feature which lets you scan your face to unlock your phone within 0.5 seconds.

The Gionee P5W comes with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera which comes with Beautification option along with Panorama shots and Mood cards. The device is powered by a 2000 mAh battery and is available in multiple color options like white, black, blue, red and yellow. It does not support 4G and comes with connectivity features like 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB and USB OTG. The Gionee P5W was announced in December last year and has been launched into the market priced at Rs. 6,499.
