Infinix India has launched its latest mid-range smartphone in its Hot-series, the Infinix Hot 6 Pro, today, in India. The new device from the Chinese smartphone maker comes with a modern 18:9 tall display and packs in a quad-core Snapdragon processor.
The smartphone has the MRP of Rs. 8999 but the official price for sale, i.e. the MOP is Rs. 7999 and the phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart.
Infinix Hot 6 Pro
The Hot 6 Pro sports a 6-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels.The 18:9 display has a maximum brightness of 500 nits and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. Powering the phone is the Quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset with Adreno 308 handling all the graphics. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The phone also offers storage expansion up to 128 GB via a microSD card. The phone runs on Infinix’s custom XOS Hummingbird based on top of Android 8.0 Oreo.
In the camera department, like every other smartphone these days, the Hot 6 Pro too comes with dual rear cameras of which the primary camera is a 13 MP unit and a secondary 2 MP unit used for capturing depth information. To the front, the phone features a 5 MP front-facing shooter which is a Fixed Focus unit. The cameras can shoot videos up to a maximum resolution of 1080 at 30 fps. A softlight LED flash assists the front facing camera, and an LED flash assists the rear cameras.
The Hot 6 Pro from Infinix features a 4000 mAh unit. The phone has support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a micro USB port. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and also has face unlock which is said to recognize up to 1024 facial points for a secure login.

The Infinix Hot 6 Pro comes in Sandstone Back, Magic Gold, City Blue and Bordeaux Red colors. The pricing of the phone is INR 7,999 for the 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. It is going to be sold exclusively on Flipkart.
