Tambo Mobiles has launched their latest smartphone, the Tambo TA-4 today, in India. The smartphone comes powered by a quad-core MediaTek chipset and has an 18:9 display. The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner and face-unlock technology as well.

The Tambo TA-4 sports a 5.45-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 640×1280 pixels. The display has a maximum brightness of 550 nits and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is the Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of expandable memory up to 64 GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
As for the cameras, the Tambo TA-4 comes with an 8 MP rear-facing camera. To the front, the device features a 5 MP selfie shooter paired with an LED flash. A dual LED flash accompanies the rear camera to lighten up your photos in low-lighting conditions.

The Tambo TA-4 comes with a 3000 mAh battery. The phone has support for 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS. For security, the phone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as Face Unlock technology. The phone weighs 133gms and is 9.15 mm thick.
Pricing and Availability of Tambo TA-4
The Tambo TA-4 comes in three color options – Champagne, Jet Black & Sapphire Blue colors. The phone’s price is set at INR 6,999 and will be available across all distributor channels in India.
Additionally, the company has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer Rs. 2,200 instant cashback vouchers with the Jio Football offer. The company is also offering service warranty of 200-days replacement, as well as one-time screen replacement warrant, valid within one-year of purchase.
The company has also announced it has over 600 service centers across India and plans on increasing it to 1000, by the year’s end.
