Intex Technologies has launched its latest 4G smartphone, the Intex Aqua Secure which comes with a fingerprint sensor and this is the first device from the company to have a fingerprint security.

The Intex Aqua Secure comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display (854 x 480 pixels resolution), and internally there is a 1GHz octa-core processor powering the phone along with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage that can be further expanded by a MicroSD card. Running the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the phone has Dual SIM functionality with both the SIM cards supporting 4G LTE.

Along with 4G there is support for VOLTE as well (Voice over LTE), which supports HD video calls. The smartphone has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera supports Panorama shots as well as slow motion video recording.

The 1900 mAh battery packed into the device is said to give up to 6 hours of talk time along with a standby time of up to 8 days. For the charging, there is USB Type-C connectivity. The fingerprint sensor supports features like clicking selfies, phone unlock, access to the gallery.

It has Matrabhasha service that enables communication in 21 regional languages including Hindi. Also has HotKnot feature to share pictures, movies etc with friends by simply getting the Aqua Secure screen closer to other mobile and the sharing process is ON. With Opera MAX, the data saving app, user can control data usage and thus have their plans last 50% longer.

Aqua Secure will provide our consumers with an advanced technology experience at a very competitive price,” stated Mr. Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies.

The Aqua Secure from Intex comes with a matt finish back cover and the color options are Golden and Grey. The device is priced at Rs. 6499 and it will be available at both online and offline stores. The other phone in competition to this at a similar price is the Coolpad Note 3 Lite, which offers a fingerprint scanner and 3GB RAM and is priced at Rs. 6999.
