LeEco Le 2 spotted in leaked images and specifications

LeEco tasted tremendous success with the launch of Le 1s in India recently and there are leaks which point at the successor LeEco Le 2 is getting ready with leaks of the phone through images and the specifications have  surfaced. The company is also rolling out the world’s first Snapdragon 820 powered smartphone the Le Max Pro. The Le 2 images were posted by Mydrivers, showing the smartphone from all angles, the front, back and the bottom of the device.

One of the major changes observed is the change of the LeTv Logo to ‘LE’. The Le 2 also carries the bezel-less display on the front similar to its predecessor. The 21MP rear camera module and the Fingerprint sensor are now square in shape from the round shape in the earlier one.

The Camera is slightly projecting out of the body and according to the report the Fingerprint sensor is said to be Ultrasonic type which cannot be confirmed yet. The body appears to be completely metal including the frame and the body. The back panel has a textured pattern different from the Le 1s and the power button and volume rockers are in the same place as in its predecessor. The bottom of the device comes with a speaker grill and USB Type C port.

The specifications of the Le 2 according to the leak include a Snapdragon 820 SoC or the MediaTek Helio X20 SoC under the hood along  with massive 4GB of RAM compared to 3GB of RAM found in the Le 1s. This surely seems to be a massive upgrade from its predecessor and if it turns out to be true, I don’t think it will be priced similar to the Le 1s and will be much higher. There are no other details about the availability of the device.
