Lenovo K5 Note launched in China with Helio P10 SoC and 2GB RAM

Lenovo has launched their latest entry in the popular Note series, the Lenovo K5 Note in China. The device is the successor to the Lenovo K4 Note which was launched in India recently. At first look, the device  is completely different from its predecessor in terms of design and build. It comes with an all metal body compared to the metal chassis in the K4 Note.

The Lenovo K5 Note sports a 5.5-inch LTPS Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels it looks like there is no improvement in the display department with the same resolution being maintained.  It is powered by a Helio P10 octa-core processor which clocks at 1.8GHz with Mali-T860 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM which is a surprise as even the K4 Note is sporting 3GB RAM. It is coupled with 16GB internal memory which is expandable.

The Camera is a 13MP shooter at the back with PDAF, dual Tone Led flash and the front camera is an 8MP shooter. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Vibe UI over it. The device measures 152 x 75.7 x 8.49mm, it sports a slightly bigger battery with 3500mAh battery along with fast charging compared to the 3300mAh battery in the K4 Note, the 3500mAh battery is said to give up to 543.3 hours of standby and 34.2 hours of talk time. It comes with Fingerprint sensor located below the LED flash at the back of the device, which is said to support payment-related apps as well along with capturing images.

Lenovo K5 Note features

The speaker is located at the back of the device which is 1.5W with Dolby Atmos compared to the K4 Note which had the speaker at the front, below the display.  The K5 Note will be sold in China through flash sale and is priced at RMB 1.099 which is around $167 approximately Rs. 11,000. The registrations for the flash sale in China have been opened.
