OPPO F3 with 5.5-inch display, Dual-lens front camera launched in India

OPPO India has officially launched the OPPO F3 smartphone in India. The smartphone can be called the successor to the OPPO F1 and it comes with the front-facing camera combination of 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras. The OPPO F3 Plus with a larger 6-inch display and the Snapdragon 653 processor was recently launched with the price tag of Rs. 30990 and now, the OPPO F3 is introduced to compete with the OPPO F1s, Moto G5 Plus, and the others in the mid-range segment.

The OPPO F3 comes with a Full HD display with the screen size of 5.5-inch and it is an IPS display on the front (with 2.5D curved arc glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection) while the phone has a metal back and a unibody design that is similar to the F3 Plus, except for how the antenna access is given on the back. Internally, the F3 comes powered with the MediaTek MT6750T and along with that, there is 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.

OPPO F3 Back

The OPPO F3 is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with 1/3-inch sensor and Dual Phase detection autofocus, and there are modes like the Expert Mode, Ultra HD, Anti-shake 2.0, and a few others to use and enhance the capture experience. On the front is a camera combination similar to the one on the OPPO F3 Plus – A 16-megapixel primary sensor with the F/2.0 aperture is given for the selfies but for those who would want group selfies, a wide-angle secondary camera is also given. Some features given for the selfie lovers include Beautify 4.0, Selfie Panorama, Screen Flash, and Palm shutter.

The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow based ColorOS 3.0 interface. There are certain features included in ColorOS and they include the Clone App to run two accounts (of WhatsApp for example) in the same phone, Privacy Protection, Security, Eye Protection, Long screen captures and Power saving mode.

OPPO F3 Front Cameras

There is a 3200 mAh battery powering the device and a standard 5V/2A charger is included. A dedicated MicroSD card slot is there for storage expansion and the Dual SIM device has two Nano SIM card slots. For the connectivity, there is support for 4G VoLTE and the phone has Dual-band Wi-Fi but no NFC connectivity.

The phone is priced at Rs. 19990 and it is a single variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.

The F3 comes in Gold and Rose Gold. Priced at INR 19,990, the Gold variant of the F3 will be available from May 13th 2017 both online and offline. The pre-order of F3 Gold version starts from today till May 12th 2017. It will be available online on Flipkart exclusively. Consumers can also pre-order offline through OPPO stores. The brand will also have a lucky draw through the pre-order entries, and three lucky winners will get a chance to see the ICC finals live in London.
