Oukitel launches K10000 with a massive 10000 mAh battery

We are seeing that there is a huge demand for power banks with the specifications of smartphones skyrocketing and battery life getting smaller, seems like Oukitel wanted to offer a power bank within a smartphone and designed the K10000. As the name goes, it comes with a massive world’s first 10000mAh battery inside a smartphone. This device has overtaken the MACOOX EX1 smartphone (9000mAh battery) as the smartphone with the largest battery capacity.

The specifications are quite decent and nothing extraordinary, it sports a 5.5-inch HD display with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The display looks nice and the design is maintained in a manner where the bezels are kept at a minimal giving a feeling of bezel less display, it comes with Body to screen ratio of 86%. It is not the rounded borders or rectangular device but Oukitel has given a hexagonal shape to the device. IT is powered by a Quad-core MediaTel MT6735 processor with clocking speeds of 1.0GHz with Mali-T720 GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space expandable up to 128GB using microSD card.

We have used to hearing that our smartphone gives 10 to 15 hours of battery life on average use, Oukitel is promising 10 to 15 days of battery life with the K10000 on average use. With such a huge battery you can even use it as a power bank to charge other devices. And the company claims that, you can charge an iPhone 6s Plus up to three times using a fully charged K10000.

It sports a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. It comes with Hybrid Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, WiFim GPS and microUSB connection. One of the main aspects which we have to look at is that the Oukitel K10000 supports Fast Charging which will make it a lot better to charge your device quickly even if it is once in two weeks. Along with the massive battery, the company has included intelligent power consumption management which makes power consumption efficient to give more battery life.

What is more astounding is that, with a 10000mAh battery in a smartphone the company has managed to maintain the weight at just 184 grams, it is a great deal with such a huge battery and more than decent finish. The Oukitel K10000 is available for pre-order on online retailer website – Gearbest for $239.99, it is an unlocked smartphone with no contract. The official date for shipment starts from January 21st 2016.
