Panasonic P95 entry-level 4G phone launched on Flipkart

Panasonic has launched a new entry level smartphone, Panasonic P95 today in India. The new smartphone comes with Face unlock feature and a 5 inch screen.

The P95 from Panasonic sports a 5 inch HD display with a 1280x720p resolution. The phone is powered by the snapdragon 212 chipset that is clocked at 1.3 GHz along with Adreno 304 GPU. It comes with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat, out of the box.

Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India said:

The all new P95 is a combination of superior design and performance. Also, the price point at which it is available, we are confident that it will be a success with the millennials, without being heavy on their pockets.

P95 comes with a single rear camera that uses an 8 MP sensor, paired with an LED flash. The front facing shooter on the phone is a 5 MP camera .

Ayyappan Rajagopal, senior director Flipkart mobiles said:

The new P95 is our newest entrant that truly redefines the budget segment. We’re excited about this product because at a price of Rs. 3999, it packs a punch by offering some great specs on all accounts. This launch is in line with our mission to make smartphones affordable and accessible to all of India.

The phone comes with a 2300 mAh removable battery underneath and face unlock feature. It also supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5 mm headphone jack and micro USB port. The phone also comes with FM Radio and weighs 164 gms.

Pricing and Availability

The Panasonic P95 is available in Blue, Gold and Dark Grey colors. The phone will be sold exclusively on Flipkart at price of INR 4999, but will be available at lower price of INR 3,999 during the Flipkart Big Shopping Day starting from 13 May 2018 to 16 May 2018.
