Realme XT 730G with Snapdragon 730G, 30W charging, 64MP camera launching in December

While the Realme XT was officially launched in India today, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 platform and it has the 20W fast charging. Realme did tease an upcoming variant of the same phone with a better chipset and faster charging support, and this is going to be targeted at the gamers.

It’s going to be called the Realme XT 730G and the naming is because of the processor that is going to power the device. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor is targeted at gamers and thus, the company has said that it is a phone targeted at mobile gamers. The phone is not going to be really different from the Realme XT in terms of design and camera setup, and even the battery capacity is going to be the same, but the major changes are only two – processor, and fast charging.

The Realme XT 730G is going to get the 30W fast charging and with that is what the gamers would want to have along with a good chipset for gaming with smartphones. The phone is said to be launching in December 2019, and the company has mentioned that there are some other surprises around that time.

Also, the Realme XT 730G will be competing the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, which is coming with the MediaTek Helio G90T processor and the Realme XT with Snapdragon 712 wouldn’t be a great competitor to it right now. The interesting part will be the pricing of the Redmi Note 8 Pro when it launches in the Indian market. If rightly priced, it could be a better choice than the Realme XT until the 730G variant arrives in the market, though there are speculations about the Redmi Note 8 Pro heating up while gaming.
