Reliance Jio Lyf Water 1 & Water 2 Specifications & Price Revealed

Reliance’s Lyf series of smartphones is all set to go official along with the company’s Jio 4G services in India, and we are looking at two new devices that got listed on the official website, alongside Reliance Lyf Earth 1. It is the Reliance Lyf Water 1 and Lyf Water 2 smartphones that are listed, with all the specifications detailed.

While both the smartphones carry the same screen size and processor, the display resolution is the same and there are some differences that make these phones a little different with the price. The Reliance Jio Lyf Water 1 and Water 2 are both coming with a 5-inch display, but while the Water 1 has a 1080p resolution, the Water 2 carries a 720p display.

Both the smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB RAM and have 16GB internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. Even with the cameras, both the phones are the same – 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing cameras.

No surprises there with the connectivity options, as there is 4G support, given that Reliance is going to sell these to promote its 4G services as well. The Water 1 has a 2600 mAh battery while the Water 2 comes with a 2400 mAh battery.

Both the phones are Dual SIM capable, and interestingly, there is quite some difference in the thickness. The Reliance Lyf Water 1 is 6.8mm and Water 2 is 7.7mm in thickness. Even though we aren’t sure about the launch date of these devices, the pricing is already seen on the official website of the company, where it says that the Water 1 will cost Rs. 24999 and Water 2 will cost Rs. 24690.
