Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy J series smartphones for 2017 are leaked and not just the press renders, but also all the important specifications of the Galaxy J5 and J7 2017 are known now. These successors to the J5 and J7 have a lot under the hood and the differences too seem quite good. There are earlier rumors as well and these new leaks confirm those.

Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 Specs

The phone has a front fingerprint scanner, a 2.5D glass for the 5.2-inch HD display, octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and that it with the F/1.7 aperture, and on the front is a 13-megapixel camera with the F/1.9 aperture and a flash support for both the cameras.

A 3000 mAh battery is included as well and with the connectivity, there is Wi-Fi, LTE Cat. 6, VoLTE, and VoWiFi. The device will be running Android Nougat OS out of the box. Unlike how the earlier Galaxy J5 had a metal frame on the side, the 2017 variant will have a full metal body.

Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 Specs

Just like the J5, the J7 2017 will have a full metal body and the body is a bit larger, with a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display. The other similarities are with the processor and camera, while the phone has 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage.

The battery does get a good upgrade as the new J7 will have a 3600 mAh battery. As expected, it is the Android Nougat OS that the device will run and there is a fingerprint scanner on the front of the device. The connectivity as well is identical to the ones on J5 2017.

The Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 (2017) will reportedly arrive in June for 279 and 339 euros respectively.
