Samsung Galaxy Note7 to pack Iris Scanner, IP68 certification, QHD display

The Samsung Galaxy Note7 was confirmed by the prolific leakster Evleaks just a day back. Now, we get to know more about the upcoming phablet from Samsung from the same source who tweeted the details, which he says are confirmed ones.

There’s nothing that one would not have expected from the device, though. It is only that we are getting to know more details about the Note 7.

5.7″ QHD SAMOLED display is what you would be seeing on the front. Nothing is given about the processor but we might see a surprise with a newer chipset from Qualcomm, though the Snapdragon 820 is such a good performer this year, doing quite well on most of the flagships.

The device will have a 64GB storage and a MicroSD card slot as well, and what is confirmed on the Tweet is the 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel camera combination, along with the IP68 waterproof certification. Black, Silver, and Blue are the three color options that have been mentioned.

What are yet to know is about the chipset, the presence or the way how Samsung is working on the S Pen to make it work with the waterproofing standards, the battery capacity, and whether Samsung is working on any Edge variant for this.

Also, it will worth learning about the type of connectivity, whether Samsung is moving ahead to place the USB Type-C connectivity or will it stick with the MicroUSB.
