Vivo V5 India Launch

Vivo V5 to be launched on November 15th in India

Vivo India is set to launch its next flagship, the Vivo V5 in the market and the launch is going to be held on November 15th at an event in Mumbai. Vivo’s V3 and V3 Max have gained good reviews and are doing well in the offline market where the company aggressively promotes the brand and the smartphones, and even with the limited offerings, Vivo has got enough numbers to stand in the top 10 in India in terms of shipments.

The Vivo V5 is said to be a camera-centric device, and if you look closely, it is more about the selfie camera with the mention of “selfie evolution”. If the rumors are to be believed, the Vivo V5 could be coming with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera, breaking all the numbers till date and one of the close competitors to this would be the OPPO F1 series, with the F1 Plus having a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The company has been able to keep the other specs away from the wild and thus, there is not much known about device. We’ll soon get to know about the phone and will be present at the launch event that is happening on November 15th, so stay tuned for the details. Also, we aren’t hearing anything about the Max version of the phone, so it could be only one phone getting launched and the V5 Max should be seen later.

How far has the selfie craze gone? The smartphone manufacturers have been making things better when it comes to selfie cameras, and Lenovo even had a dual lens front-facing camera setup, while brands like OPPO have included better sensors for brighter selfies, so it will be interesting to see what Vivo has packed into the smartphones to attract the selfie lovers.
