Vivo V9 officially launched in Thailand – Here are all the specs

The Vivo V9 flagship smartphone is going to be officially launched in India on March 23rd but as scheduled, the phone is official in Thailand already, revealing all the information of the phone that is coming with the AI features, the 19:9 display, and the dual-lens camera combination on the back.

We’ll have the entire coverage tomorrow when the phone is official in India, but for now, here are the important specifications of the phone that is now official in one of the major markets for the company.

  • 6.3-inch Full HD+ display, 1080 x 2280 pixels screen resolution
  • 19:9 display, notch on the top
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage
  • 16MP + 5MP rear camera combination
  • 24-megapixel front facing camera
  • Android 8.1.0 Oreo based FunTouch OS 4.0
  • 3260 mAh battery

The bezels on the side of the phone are said to be only about 1.75mm. For the software, there is the latest Android OS, though the ColorOS is completely different from the stock Android OS. There are features like Artificial Intelligence for the beautification when taking selfies with the front camera, and the new AR stickers are included in the camera app.

All the major connectivity options are a part of the suite, and the phone weighs 150 grams while being 7.89mm at the thickest point with the curvy back. We will update with more details.
