Xiaomi‘s Note lineup has always offered the best bang for the buck devices for years now, with great internals, equally great battery life and decent cameras. The February-launched Redmi Note Duo (Redmi Note 5 and the Note 5 Pro) came with improved cameras when compared with the Redmi Note 4.
Rumored Specifications of Redmi Note 6 Pro
Today, a new leak has surfaced which showcased the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro’s packaging box (rear only) and the front of the device. According to the leak, the phone is said to sport a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone will have a similar notch as the recently launched Redmi 6 Pro.
Although the battery underneath is the same 4000 mAh unit as found on other Note devices, it is still unknown if it supports fast charging or not. However, given that its predecessor, Redmi Note 5 Pro has fast charging support, we do expect Xiaomi to use the same technology on the yet to be launched Note 6 Pro.
For the cameras, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is expected to come with Quad cameras, with two on the front and the other two on the back. The rear facing dual camera setup features a 12 MP primary camera and a secondary 5 MP depth sensing unit. The 12 MP sensor comes with 1.4um pixels with Dual Pixel AutoFocus for faster focus. On the front, the Note 6 Pro will have 20 MP primary camera and a 2 MP secondary which captures depth information for portraits.
Also, the leak confirms that the phone will come in 4 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage variant, while we do expect Xiaomi to release 3 GB RAM with 32 GB storage and 6 GB RAM with 64 GB storage variants as well, similar to its predecessor. The retail box also confirms that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be available in Black color. Previously a leak suggested that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 660 SOC, the same chip which powers the Mi A2.
Pricing and Availability of Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro
There’s no news on the availability of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, but the retail packaging does indicate that the device might be nearing its launch. However, the retail package doesn’t have the price mentioned anywhere.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro has so many improvements over it’s predecessor like quad camera setup, fast charge support, better large display along with 3GB/32gB storage variant as well, hope it comes with SD 660.
