Solt 3-in-1 device with Windows 8.1 launched for Rs. 19,450 in India

Global Space Technologies a Mumbai-based company has launched their first 3-in-1 tablet called SOLT, the device is called a 3-in-1 as it can be used as tablet, laptop and a desktop too when it is plugged into the dock. The SOLT comes with a 10.1-inch IPS Panel HD Display with a resolution 1280 x 800 pixels with 10 point multi-touch support which is said to the highest number of multi-touch point till date.

The SOLT is powered by a Intel BayTrail chipset and 1.8GHz quad-core Z3735G processor and supported by 2GB DDR3L RAM at 1333 MHz and 64GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB. the SOLT comes with a keyboard and a magnetic dock along with a magnetic cover to protect the tablet display.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Krishna Singh, Founder Director, GlobalSpace Technologies, said:

SOLT was conceived by our team, which ensured whether it is the inbuilt anti-theft mechanism to provide absolute security of your data or the next generation service capability provided via an app, SOLT has it all. It is a plug and play 3-in-1 Tablet in any format; tablet, laptop or as a desktop

The device comes with a 5MP primary camera which also comes with the ability scan barcodes and QR codes. The device comes with 4 USB ports, a RJ 45 jack and speakers along with optional 500GB SATA HDD. You can connect projectors too along with external Audio/Sound systems with the 3.5mm jack. It comes with a SIM slot which supports 3G connectivity. The device is powered by a 7900 mAh Li-Po battery which gives 8-10 hours with normal use and 60-72 hours of standby time.

The SOLT 3-in-1 is priced at Rs. 19,450 and will be available on e-commerce website like Snapdeal and Amazon. It comes with Windows 8.1 OS and comes with 1-year replacement warranty. According to the company MySOLT app is the only thing required to manage this device. The app can be downloaded from Windows or Android store on the user’s smartphone which comes with chat option to connect with the device settings or remote diagnostics.
