Get Jio SIM Delivered at your Home – Here’s how to get it

The Reliance Jio 4G SIM home delivery was earlier talked about, but it now is finally happening, at least in a few cities to begin with. This could be another step from Reliance to garner as many subscribers as they can while the Welcome Offer of Jio services is live and users can test the network without having to pay anything for the same.

The Jio SIM is currently available at the Reliance Digital, Reliance Digital Xpress and DX Mini stores. The situation at most of the places was such that people had to taken a token or stand in the queue for hours to get a Jio SIM card.

Since its launch, the Jio services have been under the scanner for poor speeds, which was something expected as the number of users are increasing by the day and the networks are still under testing. But what’s important to note here is that everything under the network is available for free for a set amount of time. From September 5th, the Jio Welcome Offer was available and the users can make unlimited calls, use data with a cap of 4GB per day, and use the premium Jio apps without having to pay anything.

For now, the SIM delivery at home is possible only in a few cities but it will be expanded to a few more in the coming days. If you are in Mumbai, New Delhi & NCR, Kolkata, Pune, or Ahmedabad, you can try to get the Jio SIM for free without having to visit the Reliance stores.

How to get Jio SIM delivered at your doorstep

Go to the Jio website, i.e. jio.com, where the website will look for your location and if you are in one of the places where the SIM delivery is possible, you will be asked for the details – i.e. Personal details including your name, address, and phone number.

Once those details are received, the Jio team will come to your address with the e-KYC scanner where in your Aadhaar card is scanned and details are verified and then your fingerprint verification is also done instantly to see the eligibility, so both you and Reliance doesn’t have to waste time in the verification.

You won’t have to wait for hours for the verification and activation to happen and the Jio 4G SIM should probably be ready to use by the time the Jio team leaves your place after handing over the SIM card to you.
