JioLink 4G LTE CPE Modem Pictures Leaked

The Indoor Wi-Fi device named JioLink that was the talk of the town yesterday is now seen in the wild, with a few pictures leaked, thanks to Fonearena. The CPE device is what you would be getting if you take the JioLink with the Preview offer available for free initially, for the period of 90 days.

What is JioLink? Network providers always struggle with the negative feedback they receive for the poor network signals they get on their devices. Call drops, dead slow Internet speeds and unavailability of signals are very common, no matter what the network is. JioLink is the modem that will keep itself connected to the towers and give continuous, well connected network to the devices through Wi-Fi. This ensures a good 4G LTE coverage with the JioLink acting as an intermediary between the Jio 4G LTE tower and the device where you want to use the Internet.

This JioLink router will be functioning with the MicroSIM that is provided by Reliance. The modem will be waterproof and can be clinged onto any pole or high-rising pillar using a clamp that is provided along, and if you are paying the initial amount of Rs. 2500 for the installation, you don’t have to worry about all this.

According to Fonearena, JioLink will try to latch on to 2300Mhz 4G band or Band 40 so that a faster and better network speed is offered. The box will also contain a Power-over-Ethernet PoE adapter, and once the setup is done, you’ll need a Wi-Fi router to connect to this modem.

For now, JioLink is said to be given to the retailers, employees, and distributors as was the case with Jio 4G when the first set was given to them, before Reliance rolled out the Preview Offer for LYF phone customers.
