OnePlus Sandstone Case for iPhone 6 and 6S launched

OnePlus has been doing some strange things lately, another such launch by the company is the Sandstone back case for iPhone 6 and 6S, yes you heard it right. OnePlus has actually went ahead and manufactured a Sandstone back  case for the iPhone.

The product description in the company website reads, “its a sturdy polycarbonate construction that adds both protection and grippiness, plus it feels good. Really, it’s one of those things that you don’t understand until you try it”.

They also showed off the box and the insides, “We made a limited number of cases for the holiday season. Each one comes with a physical OnePlus X invite in the packaging – but it’s no regular invite. IT could be a limited edition Ceramic invite, or maybe even a free device. Make sure to claim it to see if your got lucky”

The Sandstone case measures 138.7 x 70.2 x 10.5mm in dimensions and weighs 20 grams in weight, the material is Sandstone PET. It is made for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S only. The one major let down is the 1+ branding on the case which will confuse people, and for some, it might also make them not buy the case as they would rather want to flaunt their Apple back than 1+ branding.

The Sandstone case from OnePlus for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S is priced at $19.99. It is a very confusing launch by the company with the 1+ on the branding on the back. There was another case or pouch which was launched for the OnePlus 2 by Hard Graft costing a whooping Rs. 7,499.
