Xiaomi has announced a sub-brand called MIJIA, which will be representing the home appliances and the eco-system around it, they have launched a Electric Rice Cooker – Mi IH Cooker, which is the first device under the sub-brand. Alongside the Electric Cooker, the company has announced a list of other products including the Second Generation Bluetooth Speaker, Mi Water Purifier and Mi Router 3.
The second generation Bluetooth Speaker by Xiaomi is launched and it comes with support for Bluetooth 4.1 which is compatible with all mobile devices. The Bluetooth Speaker measures 60.0mm x 60.0mm x 93.3mm in dimensions which is quite compact and it is powered by a 1200mAh battery offering 7 hours of continuous playback, this is great for a wireless Bluetooth speaker which can be useful on road trips etc.
Coming to the most important aspect, the maximum sound output power is 5W. The speaker comes with built-in microphone which lets you make hands-free calls and can be connected to devices as far as 10 meters. The MI speaker comes with small LED indicator at the front to show the connectivity and other details.
Xiaomi has two Wireless Portable Bluetooth Speakers, one is round and the other one is Cylindrical MI Bluetooth Speaker in shape. both devices have Wireless Bluetooth connectivity.
