AMD Radeon RX 580 with 8GB GDDR5 RAM launched

AMD has introduced a refreshed model of RX480; the RX 580 which is here to compete with high-end Nvidia cards such as GTX 1080 Ti, GTX 1080 and GTX 1070. AMD RX 580 uses the company’s Polaris architecture with slight improvements and better clock speeds.

The AMD RX 580 packs either 4GB or 8GB GDDR5 RAM on a 256-bit interface with the same 2,304 stream processors and is again based on the Polaris architecture which uses 14nm FinFET manufacturing process. The RX 580 has a core clock speed of 1,257MHZ and a boost clock of 1,340MHz aiming a smooth 60fps at 1440p with highest graphic settings. Which is quite faster than its previous generation; the RX 480. Though the new RX 500 series graphic cards is not based on the all-new Vega architecture, the Polaris Architecture is equally powerful.
