Reliance reportedly planning to give Jio 4G Preview Offer SIM for iPhone users

After offering the Jio 4G SIM with LYF smartphones and also for Samsung smartphone users, Reliance is now said to be working internally to prepare for offering the SIM cards with the Preview offer for Apple iPhone users. According to our internal sources, the offer could start in August after the network provider clears out a few things and sets up things for new or existing Apple iPhone owners.

The 4G SIM Preview Offer includes the provision of unlimited data, unlimited calls, and unlimited SMS for a span of 90 days, which is the test phase for the company where it will be seen what areas lack proper network and how much bandwidth can the network handle. Earlier, it was only the LYF phones that had to be purchased if the user wanted to get a Jio 4G SIM card (locked to the device) for free. Later, Reliance tied up with Samsung to offer the SIM (unlocked one) for users of specific Samsung phones.

The sources close to the Jio team mentioned that the officials are yet to decide whether to offer the same pricing and packs for the existing iPhone users and new ones or have separate plans because the launch of a new iPhone is just a couple of months from now.

We’ll try to dig more into this and see if the talk is actually true and if we are going to see the Jio 4G offer for Apple iPhone users or not.
