HTC 10 press renders leaked

HTC 10 launch scheduled to April 12th and 10 Mini with Snapdragon 823 in September

The HTC 10 or the M 10 is all set to be launched on April 12th this month, with all the leaks about the design of the device and its specifications revealing almost every aspect of the device, there is not much left to wait for apart from the pricing and the other minor specifications and details. There is a lot riding on this device for HTC as it will decide the fate of the company which has not seen any true success in the past few launches and the company is said to be in losses.

The HTC 10 surely looks impressive as it comes with some impressive specifications, it is expected to sport a 5.2-inch Quad HD display and will be powered by Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and expected to come in three variants of 16GB/32GB and 128GB internal storage options with expandable storage using microSD card.

There was another variant of the HTC 10 spotted in FCC filing which is a toned down variant with Snapdragon 652 processor and 3GB of RAM, we earlier thought that this is going to be the specs on the HTC 10 mini but new details coming out point at a Snapdragon 823 powered HTC 10 mini with 4.7-inch display. The SD 652 SoC powered device must be targetted at a specific region (only time will tell).

The HTC 10 mini with the enhanced SD 823 SoC is expected to be launched in September and both the HTC 10 and HTC 10 mini are expected to sport a 12 Ultrapixel rear camera and an 8 Ultrapixel front facing camera. The main factor which will be deciding the success of the device in the competitive Flagship segment is the pricing with the likes of Galaxy S7 and LG G5 launched earlier this year. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have got positive responses from the market already with huge pre-orders and the LG G5 is also being admired so HTC has to set the pricing properly which I feel was the problem with them always(Greta devices with unappealing pricing).
