Asus has announced another device in the Zenfone 2 series, to keep the confusion about devices alive here comes the Zenfone 2 Laser 6 (ZE601KL) into the Indian market. The devices sports a 6-inch Full HD display to join the other devices in the Zenfone 2 Laser category having 5-inch and 5.5-inch displays.
The Zenfone 2 Laser 6 comes with a 6-inch IPS display having Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 with HCLR film for added protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC and couple with 3GB of RAM, the device also has a 2GB variant in other markets which ahs not been released in India. The Zenfone 2 Laser 6 comes with 32GB of built-in storage which is expandable up to 128 GB using microSD card.

The main focus of the Laser series is the primary camera and the laser autofocus, it comes with 13-megapixel sensor having f/2.0 aperture along with 5 element auto-focus lens and Laser autofocus. As seen in other models of Zenfone 2 Laser it has Real Tone dual LED flash, IR filter and Asus PixelMaster Technology. With the laser Autofocus the Zenfone 2 Laser can focus the object in just 0.03 seconds. the front camera is a 5MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens.
The Zenfone 2 Laser 6 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based Zen UI 2.0. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery, the device has Dual SIM support and 4G LTE support. The Zenfone 2 Laser 6 comes in Red, Silver and Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 17,999, it will be available on online stores as well as in offline stores. The other two Zenfone 2 laser variants launched in India sport a 5.5-inch display and are priced at Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 16,999 for the devices having Snapdragon 410 and Snapdragon 615 SoC variant.
